OpenText Core Archive for SAP and OpenText Information Archive are two different products. Information Archive preserves historical data from retired applications across many source systems. Core Archive for SAP is a cloud (SaaS) archive built specifically for SAP: it stores the documents and data that SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA produce, and keeps them linked to the SAP business processes that use them. Platform Expertise
OpenText Core Archive for SAP runs in the OpenText Cloud and connects to SAP through standard interfaces (SAP ArchiveLink, SAP ILM and CMIS), so there is no archive hardware or software to run on-premises.
